Detailed Itinerary


In the morning Local guide will come and pick you up at your hotel.

Depart by car for 3 hours on the road to Monywa, the economic capital of western Myanmar. On the way, you may stop at a typical Myanmar pottery village at Sagaing.

Enjoy the lunch at local restaurant.

Transfer to your hotel for check in and time for short break.

In the afternoon, visit to Pho Win Taung, an archaeological site with over 900 caves transformed to the temples of Buddha statues and decorated with wall paintings dated to 17 th & 18th century.

Then proceed to Shwe Ba Mountain with the human made caves. The cave walls are decorated with white Elephant statues.

Dinner at local restaurant.

Return to your hotel and overnight at Monywa.


Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit to Bodhitataung Pagoda(one thousand Bo Tree) and make a photo stop to the longest reclining BuddhaImage of Myanmar (333 ft/91 m) long and the a newly tallest standing Buddha Image(413 ft/141 m) high,it is the highest in the world.

Then proceed to MohnyinThanbodhay, an unusual Buddhist temple with over 500,000 Buddha images.

Lunch at local restaurant.

Drive back to Mandalay via Sagaing.

On the ways visit to Sagaing Hill for a panoramic view of Sagaing and Ayeyarwaddy River.

On arrival to Mandalay transfer to your hotel.
